A respiratory nurse friend has recommended an app for respiratory prescribing.  Its called Rightbreathe.  Its free and available on iphone, and ipads, there is also a website which seems to offer the same services.  It shows all the different inhalers, their contents and license and has a link to a video demonstration of how to use each device.   There are also links to guidelines (with local policies for some of you in the South of England).  Patients can download a version of the app for non-clinicians which may be a good way of engaging with some of the hard to reach teenagers and adolescents and its then possible to send them videos of inhaler technique from your own app.  I've not had a proper play with it yet but it looks very useful to help navigate through the complicated and overwhelming world of inhaler devices and respiratory guidelines.

Hi
As a respiratory nurse this app I have used for awhile. Patients fine it very user friendly and keeps you up to date with all new inhalers coming into prescribing budgets, along with their licences.
