Our AfC Index is 0.4%

We calculate the AfC index based on our 2010 salary survey
  1. The % of respondents using an AfC Band versus Whitley Grade (72%)
  2. The % of respondents whose salary was above the the published minimum salary for the band (69%)
  3. The % of respondents who received an Annual Increment last year (16%)
  4. The % of respondents who received an annual holiday entitlement* defined by Agenda for Change for service in their current practice (16%)
  5. The % of respondents who received pro rata equivalent of 8 days bank holiday (69%)
The AfC Index is the % of the survey who met all the criteria above. This attempts to measure the % of respondents whose practices have fully embraced Agenda for Change.

* Pro rata equivalent of 27 days (0-5 years service), 29 days (5-10 years service) or 33 days (>10 years service).

The AfC Index in previous years was 2.1% (2010) 2.5% (2009) & 3.9% (2008)
