Has anyone had a problem obtaining this? I need to give a pt a 2nd Hep B course as he didn't respond to a course of Engerix B, Our Health Protection Agency got quite stroppy on the phone when we said even Sanofi Pasteur hasn't got any, they said they would have been sent a 'flier'if this was so. They did phone us back and say he will have to have a 2nd course of Engerix B, so maybe they found some info afterwards!! Any ideas please?
Has not been available for a long time nor likely to be for a long time. I would try course of twinrix. Assume patient has been tested for disease arkers?

We have been unable to obtain any Hep B vaccine other than Engerix B for quite a while now. I was also told by GSK rep yesterday that because the other companies have no supplies of Hep B vaccine , GSK's Engerix may soon be limited in the amount you can order at one time.
